In 1998/99, a large difference was registered between the percentage of obese males (BMI ≥ 30) and that of females, the latter being inferior. In 2005/2006, there was an increase of the percentage of obese, both males and female (40% and 47,8% respectively). go to top

In 2005/2006 the highest value for obese males was in Centro (5,1%), and the lowest in LVT (2,6%). For females Norte had the highest value and Algarve (1,6) the lowest.go to top
