The percentage of 6-year-old pupils vaccinated in compliance with the NVP in the 2002/2003 and 2005/2006 school year was the same (90%)..

During the 2005/2006 school year, the Algarve Region stood out as being the one presenting the lowest percentages of pupils vaccinated in compliance with the NVP at age 6 (64%). In contrast, Centro registered the highest percentages (98%), followed by Alentejo (96%) and Norte(93%).
