Standardized death rate for cervix uteri cancer before 65 years, decreased 10,7%, between 2004 and 2006, but after 2006 the trend changed. In 2008 the value for this indicator was the highest of the period 2004-2008 (2,6 deaths / 100 000 women).

Regional values of standardized death rate for cervix uteri cancer before 65 years increased, from 2004 to 2008, except in Region Norte.
Due to small number of cases, the values of the indicator in Alentejo and Algarve showed large interanual variability.
